VISA
Indonesian citizens who wish to go to Denmark for business or tourism need a visa. In March 2001 Denmark joined the Schengen visa system.
A Schengen visa gives the holder the right to travel inside the whole Schengen area without applying for visas to each country.
The Schengen countries are: Austria, Belgium, The Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
The Schengen countries are able to issue a short-stay visa (transit, tourist, business) for the period of 1 to 90 days, which is valid for all countries. The total duration of stay or a succession of several stays may not exceed 90 days per six months.
The opening hours of the Visa Section
:
Tuesday and Thursday: 08h30 - 12h00
Please note
:
There is no legal right to a visa.
As a rule it is not allowed to change the purpose of a visit.
Visas for longer period than 90 days or for the purpose of taking up employment or studying are not subject to the Schengen agreement. They are subject to the national legislation of the country of destination. They must be applied for with the consular authorities of the country concerned.
Visa fee to be paid upon application.
When submitting the application to one of the Danish consulates an extra administration fee is charged.
